Dodger Stadium required single sided viewstation enclosures to be mounted on existing light poles in a back to back format while angling downward for most ergonomic viewing. The viewstation engineering team went to work in an effort to accommodate the Dodger’s request by providing a mounting solution to work specifically for the light poles. As you can see from the picture below our engineering team was able to design a solution that not only fulfilled the mounting needs, but looked aesthetically pleasing as well.

In another stadium installation the Chicago White Sox needed a number of viewstation enclosures in various locations around U.S. Cellular Field. This solution required not only our standard wall mount for the concourse areas, but also a unique wall mount arm solution to accommodate enclosures hanging in the center field concourse area with air conditioners installed. A challenge presented to viewstation from the transportation world was the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) project. VRE is a commuter rail service in Northern Virginia which feeds the Metro system in Washington, D.C. Working with International Display Systems (IDS), VRE project electronics integrator, viewstation participated in various site surveys as there are a number of stations that are more modern and of standard design, but there are still several stations that are much older and one that has a Historic Landmark designation. viewstation provided standard product with custom mounting solutions for most of the modern stations, but was able to work with VRE project managers in providing an ornate metal design for the older stations to integrate into the environment while providing needed scheduling and commuter information.

viewstation has found a new home protecting displays at Elvis’ old home, Graceland. When the caretakers of Graceland needed to provide information to the visitors at one of the most famous homes in the world they turned to viewstation for a solution that can be used during those famous Tennessee springtime thunderstorms as well as the occasional winter cold snap. Graceland personnel wanted to be sure they were getting an enclosure that would not only protect their signage solution, but also aesthetically integrate into their environment.
